This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by SmartPOSWizard.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage.
2. Our marketing website
smartposwizard.com does not use advertising, social-media or third-party analytics cookies, and has no tracking pixels. If you use Ask Babu on the website, your browser keeps a random visitor id in its local storage (babu:visitor) so your choice of what Babu may use is remembered; it identifies no one. We also set a strictly necessary security cookie (csrftoken) that protects against cross-site request forgery.
3. The live demo
The demo app stores its sample restaurant data (orders, settings and time punches) in your browser’s local storage. Demo sign-ins use the same strictly necessary session and security cookies as the application. You can clear the sample data with Settings → Reset demo data or by clearing site data in your browser.
4. The application
Customer Workspaces use strictly necessary cookies and storage for sign-in sessions, security (such as protection against cross-site request forgery), enrolled-device identity, and offline queues on stations. Our payment provider may set its own cookies on payment pages to prevent fraud.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working.
6. Changes and contact
If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required. Questions: privacy@smartposwizard.com.
